Privacy Policy
This page is an outline, not legal text. Have counsel write each section for this store, then publish the matching version in the portal's Legal page. Bracketed lines say what a section must cover.
What we collect when you use this site, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your email address, your name, your shipping address and your order history.
When you sign in we also record signals about the request: the network it came from, the browser, and the device.
How we use it
To sign you in, fulfil and support your orders, and keep the store secure.
Automated assessments
Sign-in requests are scored automatically for signs of abuse, and a request can be refused on that score.
[Describe the assessment and how to contest a refusal. This section must be live before risk enforcement is switched on in the portal.]
We send email about your account and your orders.
[Only if the marketing module is on: describe sale and code emails, that you can opt out from any of them or from the order confirmation, and the email service that sends them.]
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare (hosting), PayPal (payment), EasyPost and the carrier (shipping), and Resend (email).
[Add Mailchimp if the marketing module is on.]
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Sign-in records are kept for two years.
Your choices
[How to see, correct or delete your information, and how to opt out of marketing.]
